Located at in Gibsons, BC, the Architects Vision residence is a stunning example of modern architecture combined with thoughtful landscape design. James Tuer, who is not only an architect but also a landscape architect, has seamlessly integrated the indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a harmonious connection between the natural surroundings and the built environment.
The project features Kolbe Gallery's Ultra Series Aluminum Clad Wood Windows, specifically crank out casements and beveled direct set fixed windows. The windows are adorned with a Timberwolf exterior finish color, creating a sleek and modern aesthetic. The interiors boast a double clear coat on mixed grain fir, adding warmth and elegance to the living spaces.
With square profile glazing beads/stops and a minimum jamb depth of 6-5/8" (modern profile), the windows offer both functionality and style. The LoE 270 dual glazed glass ensures energy efficiency and optimal natural light transmission.
Adding to the overall design, the casement windows are equipped with Encore style matte black crank out handles, while the doors feature Dallas style matte black door handles. The adjustable swing door hinges in black provide a seamless and cohesive look throughout the project.
